Last week on 24th July 2015, Gary Illyes from Google has confirmed that Google has started rolling out a Panda 4.2 update, which will affect 2 % to 3 % of English search queries.

Most importantly, if you haven’t noticed any impact of the update on your website than that doesn’t mean that your website is up-to-date. This is because of the fact that the update will be rolled out slowly, and as per Google, it may take months to fully roll out the update. This further leads to the chances that you may not notice the effect of the update on your website.

Even the Moz’s search result monitoring tool, the Mozcast, shows no signs of unusual activity in the search results so far.

If we compare than the previous Panda update had affected around 3 – 5 % of search queries, the one before that had affected around 7.5 % of search queries, whereas the current one, Panda 4.2 has affected 2 – 3 % search queries, so far.
